Innovative Design

This House in the Sun Country golf course, near Cle Elum, has a neat, innovative design, for a smaller home. The structure is two, 24X36, rectangles, set at 42 degrees to each other, with an open air courtyard between the living space and garage.  The cathedral ceiling rakes from 11'6" to 17'6" inside, with the open air area being even taller.

Nice, except for the crooked washers... Cristopher.  (The washers were later fixed.)

Custom straps, mortised into the tops of the beams.

Originally, the roof was going to be structural insulated panels.  A change to purlins was made to reduce costs.

Too nice to cover.
