Collaborative Projects

  Collaboration in Action
With the downturn in the housing market, I have found myself working with or for other framing contractors. I feel that if I don’t win the bid on a job I shouldn’t post it as my own work.

But what if the winning contractor is overbooked and hires me and all or part of my crew to build the house?

What if I am hired to lead someone else’s crew?

What if I am a secondary lead man on a double sized crew with two “teams” building the same house?

These arrangements are becoming more frequent as the good carpenters consolidate around core builders. Thus I have had to come up with a new category for the display for the “almost mine”, “leadership mine” and the “half mine” jobs that I do. These will be listed as collaborative projects.
